The U.S. Embassy issued the following press release:
About 250 pieces of heavy machinery and containers with medical supplies and construction material arrived in El Salvador on February 21, marking the first steps towards the joint humanitarian excercize New Horizons 2006, joint task force Morazan.
The military slip Cape Orlando docked at Acajutla port with the personnel and equipment need for the construction of the base camp for what will be the tenth military exercise in El Salvador. It will take place in Morazan Department, in Northeastern El Salvador.
