CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS SEEKS PROFESSIONALS FOR GROWING NUMBER OF BILINGUAL TEACHING POSITIONS

The Chicago Public Schools issued the following news release:

The Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking bilingual applicants for two exciting alternative teacher certification programs.

The programs are designed to transition professionals into bilingual teaching positions to meet the growing demand for bilingual educators in the Chicago public schools.

Most successful candidates will begin full-time positions within CPS in September, 2006. The new educators will be able to complete coursework at a partner college while simultaneously working at CPS.
