Article: Rotruck Joining Chesapeake Energy, Continuing Tourism Focus

When the 2006 legislative session ends, Scott Rotruck will begin a new chapter in his life, one that rests squarely in West Virginia's energy sector.

Rotruck, who has been president and CEO of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce for five years, is leaving his post to become director of corporate development for natural gas producer Chesapeake Energy Corp.'s eastern division.

"I love energy," he told The State Journal. "I think energy is still one of West Virginia's brightest upsides. ... Energy is still packed with big opportunities for West Virginia, and it's a place where the state has a history of excellence."
