After failing to execute several turnaround strategies, Pizza Magia International Inc. executives have decided to throw in the towel and dissolve the 5-year-old company by the end of August. A sign that company executives were set to give up the fight at Pizza Magia occurred in May when the company sold its last significant assets, a group of nine company-owned Indianapolis locations. The stores were sold to Toledo, Ohio-based Marco's Franchising LLC, which operates more than 125 Marco's Pizza locations. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Closely on the heels of that transaction came the announcement that seven area Pizza Magia franchises are being converted into Snappy Tomato Inc. ...
