Source Beverages has added a distributor in Asheville for its flagship productDrink. The deal with RC Bottling will expand the Greensboro-based company's presence to the western edge of its home state. Source Beverages, founded in 1998, is already distributed elsewhere in North Carolina, the Midwest and Texas. Asheville is a very welcome addition, according to Source founder and CEO Tyler Benedict, because of its reputation with and population of outdoor athletes -- a target market for Burn, which touts 25 percent more caffeine than its competitors and more vitamins and antioxidants.
