THE writing crew of the CBS sitcom ''How I Met Your Mother'' once had a light saber battle in the dark. There haven't been many other accessories in their room, except for a massage chair that was originally in the ''Friends'' writing room, said Craig Thomas, a creator and executive producer of the series.
