The following recall has been announced:
-About 3.7 million Old Williamsburgh Mason Jar Candles, manufactured by Old Williamsburgh Candle Corp., because the wick can move from the jar's center to the side, causing the glass to overheat and possibly crack. This poses a burn and laceration hazard to consumers who could be injured by the broken glass and hot wax. The company has received 11 reports of the candles cracking or shattering, including one report of a person being cut.
The recall includes all scents and colors of the candles in 3.5-, 4-, 4.5- and 5-ounce sizes. The candle's size is printed on the label on the bottom of the jar. Replacement Mason Jar Candles are not included in ...
