Wider Loss for Dendreon - Analyst Blog

Last week, Dendreon Corp. ( DNDN ) reported a second-quarter loss of $126.7 million or $1.20 per share, which was significantly wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of 16 cents. The company reported a loss of $16.5 million or 18 cents per share in the year ago quarter. The increase in loss for the reported quarter was primarily due to a $105.8 million loss on the sale of warrants in April.
