The Directors of Republic Gold Limited (ASX:RAU) today announced that the Company has received analysis results for the final 18 RC drillholes for the 2009 field season drilling at its Terrace Creek Prospect, within its 100%-owned Tregoora Gold Project in Far North Queensland ("FNQ"). A total of two diamond drillholes have also been completed at Terrace Creek to provide geological interpretations and samples for ongoing metallurgical testwork and will be reported in a second market announcement.
A total of 1,086 metres of RC drilling were drilled in this second phase over 450 metres of strike extent.
Thirteen of the 18 holes intersected mineralisation.
