THERE'S a young lad I know who's very keen on gardening. I've met him several times at shows and garden centres, and he already holds a world record.
He's grown more tomatoes on a truss than anybody else - 185. He was really chuffed!
I meet quite a few kids who are interested in growing things and when we are filming Ground Force many of them gather round us after school.
I usually find it's the boys who like giant vegetables, prickly cacti or wacky carnivorous plants, while girls are into the sort of flowers that attract butterflies, or plants that they can use for crafts.
