Britches of Georgetowne looks outdoors for growth: with 37 stores, Britches Great Outdoors will open 12 new stores in '92.

WASHINGTON (FNS) -- Britches of Georgetowne, Inc., is counting on its Britches Great Outdoors division to a catapult into the ranks of such national retailers as the Gap and The Limited.
"It's an expandable concept," said company president Philip Iosca about the casualwear division. "It requires less capital, and we get better return on it than the other divisions. It is also very marketable and does well in street-front and regional mall locations."
In addition to Britches Great Outdoors, the company also operates stores under the Britches of Georgetowne name, selling tailored clothing, furnishings and sophisticated sportswear, as well as Britches Great Outdoors ...
