Finnish helicopter makes successful first flight.(AEROSPACE)

The first NH90 helicopter destined for the Finnish Armed Forces took off for a successful maiden flight on september 15th at Eurocopter's production site and headquarters in Marignane, France, reports the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), which has headquarters in Germany and France. The company came into being on July 10, 2000, emerging from the link-up of the German DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG, the French Aerospatiale Matra, and CASA of Spain. In 2003, EADS achieved revenues of 30.133 billion.
