Astaxanthin market grows with aquaculture industry.(Industry Overview)

Astaxanthin, which provides farm-raised fish with pigment when placed in their feed, is provided by Hoffmann-La Roche and Cyanotech. The industry had a growth rate of 10% in 1997 compared with 1996 and could grow by 10% in 1998. Hoffmann-La Roche makes astaxanthin at one Swiss facility that is capable of providing the aquaculture industry with adequate product.

Roche leads business, but Cyanotcch is in pursuit.
