Witnesses say Nichols bought type of fertilizer used in blast.(Nation)

DENVER - Prosecution witnesses testified yesterday that Oklahoma City bombing suspect Terry Nichols bought 2 tons of the same type of fertilizer that was used in the deadly blast, then rented sheds to store the bomb components.

Bookkeeper Sharri Furman identified Mr. Nichols as the man who rented storage lockers in Council Grove, Kan., in the fall of 1994, about six months before the April 19, 1995, blast.

She said the man used the name "Joe Kyle," a name FBI agents found written on a notebook in Mr. Nichols' home. The handwriting on the rental agreement showed that it matched that of "Ted Parker," who also rented a storage locker at the facility.
