Cambridge, Mass.-Cambridge Technology Partners Inc. is the latest IT services firm to join the fray of companies investing in dot.com start-ups.
Under the program, called Newco, for "New Economy Companies," Cambridge Technology will mentor fledgling dot.com companies, application service providers and E-services providers with the intent to take them public.
Newco acts as a greenhouse, nurturing new business ventures in Cambridge Technology's own office locations, and caters to the start-ups' IT infrastructure, strategic consulting and administrative needs.
