SPIDER MITES ON BEANS AND MILDEW ON ROSES BOTH CAN BE CONTROLLED.(HOME)

My snaps did so beautifully until after about three pickings. Then their leaves turned an ugly grayish-yellow. I did not find any insects, but the leaves seemed to have been eaten in places. I used Sevin dust several times to no avail.

Will you examine the enclosed leaves to see whether you can identify the problem and what I should have done to correct it?

Your beans were infested with spider mites, which Sevin won't control. You need a spray containing kelthane or hose off the spider mites with a spray of water.
