When teacher Linda White went on pregnancy leave with her first child, she figured she would be back in school within a year or two.
That was 9 1/2 years ago.
This fall, the mother of a 7- and a 9-year-old is the new kid on the block again as a fifth-grade teacher at Roselle Middle School.
While most teachers with a few years of experience under their belt are gearing up for just another year, White and other second- time-around teachers are adjusting to a completely different world of education.
