AS COLD WINDS and driving rain make the garden less enticing, many gardeners turn to indoor plants for comfort. We fill our windows with flowering azaleas and narcissus and line the mantelpiece with trumpeting amaryllis and forced lilies. When winter winds blow, we can revel in the soft scents and vivid colors of our indoor gardens.
One key to success with indoor plants lies in providing solid waterproof saucers and trays for each and every pot.
