North Carolina Community College to Open Sixth Campus.

Jun. 29--Central Piedmont Community College is about to open its sixth campus -- an $8.5 million complex in northeast Charlotte that will serve as a base for the school's paralegal, secretarial and sign language programs.

The showcase of the new campus will be the horticulture program -- with its 5,000-square-foot classroom building, state-of-the-art greenhouse and planting fields for the study of pruning, pests and weed management.
