OLD-TIMER'S DAY TO BE RESCHEDULED

NEW YORK -- The Yankees were forced to postpone the 54th annual Old-Timer's Day
after torrential morning rains made the Yankee Stadium field unplayable.
The team also postponed its scheduled game against the Florida Marlins.
"The field was deemed unplayable no matter what," Yankees general
manager Brian Cashman said. "We held out hope until noon. There was
already an inch-and-a-half of rain on the field and more was coming."
Cashman said Old-Timer's Day would be rescheduled, though he wasn't
sure of a date. One ...
