Black Skin Care: Dark spots on Black skin

Dear Rebecca: My family is African-American, and my daughter is 10 years
old. She has has freckles like her father and has been teased in school
constantly. She often asks me why she has them and why I don't have them.
Her grandmother also has freckles. Is there anything we can do for
