Skins Banking on Tony
Is there something in the water? In a blink of an eye the Redskins have
gone from being an NFL doormat to a NFC dominator. A journeyman quarterback
has revived a team of disjointed losers and now has them playing the best
football in the NFL.
Washington has an unusual situation in which the head coach and the
quarterback are new to the team. For this system to win five games in it's
first season is good, five in a row is great. Banks didn't know he'd be
here this year so he didn't spend the off-season studying the playbook or
workout with teammates. Banks was still able to take a leadership role and
be successful.
