There is nothing flashy about Erica Kennedy, the first-time novelist who plumbs the shallows of the hip-hop glitterati in the new book ''Bling.'' Sure, her striking model looks and soaring cheekbones stand out, even amid the head-turning crowd at the subterranean Mercer Kitchen in SoHo.
