Sammie Lamont has joined the Jacksonville office of Batson-Cook Company as its new business development manager.

During her 20-plus years in the construction industry, Lamont has directed new business efforts for a number of nationally recognized architects. She has also served as vice president of business development for a major construction firm in the southwest.

In her new role, Lamont will develop strategic planning that will augment the firm's ongoing business development efforts to maximize opportunities in the Southeast. Batson-Cook is experienced in a wide range of project types, including retail, health care (both hospitals and CCRCs), religious, housing, and educational facilities. …
