So two contractors are at a bar (a sand bar) and they're fishing (this is, after all, a family magazine) and one of them says to the other one, "Caught anything?"

And the second one answers, "No, nothing. You?"

And the first one says, "No, nothing caught, but I lost a good one."

"A good fish?" says the second.

"No, a good project manager," says the first. "A really, really good project manager, probably the best we ever had. He'd been with us five years. But this morning he told me he was leaving to go with that firm down the street. Just like that. Man, if he'd stayed, he was in line for a big promotion in a couple of months. Big raise, new company truck, company bass boat, and all the rest. …
