The ZL2105 single-chip 3A power conversion IC integrates full digital power and management capabilities in a 6 X 6 mm package, extending digital-DC technology into lower power applications. The plug-and-play device requires less than 2 cm square of board space and can be seamlessly combined with other digital-DC devices for board-mounted power management and conversion. The devices are fully-configurable with simple pin-strap connections, resistor selection or via the on-board serial port using the PMBus[TM] command set. Multiple ICs can be combined by configuring each IC via pin-strap selection and connecting the serial bus of each device. …
