Eaton Corporation has introduced AccuProx[TM], a family of analog inductive proximity sensors that, according to the company, can sense objects up to four times that of typical shielded and unshielded tubular analog sensors without compromising output accuracy. AccuProx sensors can also sense ferrous and non-ferrous metals (such as steel, aluminum and copper), and they can be used to assure proper distance, size and thickness for various types of measurements. …
