Aavid Thermalloy, LLC announced its high performance Turbo Flow cold plates for power applications that are designed to cool the latest high density IGBTs. These cold plates increase the surface area in contact with the cooling fluid by channeling fluid through specially configured flow paths. Lower pressure drop means less demand on the fluid circulation system, allowing engineers to reduce overall system cost. They are easily configured for custom applications since length and width can be varied and the fluid flow path can be altered. …
