Akros Silicon's AS1130, an extension to its family of Power over Ethernet (PoE) Powered Device (PD) controllers, provides up to 30W power delivery on the network cable, to allow for the deployment of high-end security cameras and wireless LAN access points. It also provides seamless support for local power and over temperature protection. Pin compatibility between the company's AS1113, AS1124 and AS1130 allow the designer to support multiple power levels without a complete redesign of the system PCB. …
