Cableco Technologies has introduced an improved version of the Power SwivelNut (PSN) connector with brass and stainless steel rotating threaded nuts for improved strength. The PSN is UL approved. A tellurium copper crimp barrel provides a gas-tight connection to the power cable. The rotating threaded head is attached to the barrel. When tightened onto a threaded stud, the crimp barrel base is locked against the stud, securing the electrical connection. The swivel nut was designed to satisfy OEM requests for a high current termination consisting of completely captive hardware that eliminates the production problem of dropped washers and screws which must be retrieved from the bottom of a system cabinet. …
