Pune, April 16 -- To beat the heat and keep you cool and fresh on hot days, a non-governmental organization in Pune city has created an innovative solar fan cap.

The Pune-based Fuel Saver India came up with idea after noticing this trend and thought of developing the energy saving mobile solar fan caps.

"The idea came to us after noticing that people do not come out in the summer because of the heat. And this is why we have developed this product, wearing which you can go anywhere. You can wear the solar cap while riding a scooter or while working on a farm. We worked on developing the solar cap for two to three years and made a small solar cell on which the solar cap can run," said Chaitanya Thomre, member of Fuel Saver India. …
